You can also press Enter to get out of edit mode. That's what I usually do.

The Save button is disabled until you are no longer in edit mode. Click on a field like the description after you make your edits, or on another row.

The save button is disabled whenever the table is in "edit mode". So sometime you have to click on one of the fields that cannot be edited, like the planning folder or submitted by to get it out of that mode. Once it is, then the Save button is enabled.

By using "submit new artifact in" i created few artifacts.
Created artifacts are showing "unsubmitted" in artifact id.
Then i am editing few column like assigned to, priority etc.
When i click save button, i found save button is disabled.
Then i am selecting the artifact [ie row] and clicking save button.

I have tested inline editing, drag and drop dependencies, create new artifacts etc.

See artf155 for explanation of charts problem.

Mass update just means to use the planning editor features to do things like inline editing, drag and drop dependencies, create new artifacts etc. Then use the Save button to have all those changes sent to the server.
