CollabNet Desktop 1.5 - New and Noteworthy

The emphasis on the 1.5 release has been Subversion 1.5 support as well as much deeper integration with CollabNet SourceForge Enterprise and CollabNet Enterprise Edition.

A list of known issues has also been posted and will be actively maintained. Also, be sure to see the New and Noteworthy features for the 1.2.0 release.

CollabNet Subversion
CollabNet Merge Client We now include the CollabNet Merge Client, including change set support. This is installed as part of the CollabNet Desktop. For more information see the following article.
Subclipse 1.4.x Subclipse 1.4.x is included. This includes full support for Subversion 1.5 features.
Integration with CSFE and CEE Servers One of the features of the deeper integration with CSFE and CEE is that you now have direct access to the Subversion repositories for all of the projects on those servers that you have access to. With a single URL and a set of credentials you can now access all of your Subversion repositories directly from the CollabNet Sites view

CollabNet SourceForge Enterprise
Deeper integration You can now add your CSFE Server (requires 4.4+) directly in the CollabNet Sites view. This provides direct access to all of the projects you have access to. This includes direct access to your Subversion repositories. Support for tasks, in addition to trackers, has been added to the existing Mylyn connector.
Documents and File Releases Drag and drop support for documents and file releases.
Built-in Queries and Custom Queries While we still have full support for Mylyn and the queries you can create for the Mylyn Task List, we now also provide a number of built-in queries from the CollabNet Sites view. This lets you quickly access items assigned to you or submitted by you. This includes trackers and tasks in addition to document reviews. You can also create custom tracker and task queries and access them from the CollabNet Sites view. Mylyn task lists can still be utilized to support off-line operation or if you simply want to use the Mylyn Task Focused Framework as part of your daily workflow.

CollabNet Enterprise Edition
Deeper Integration CEE servers (requires 5.0+). can be added directly in the CollabNet Sites view. This provides direct access to all of the projects in which you have a membership role, including the Subversion repository for each project.
Built-in Queries and Custom Queries While we still have full support for Mylyn and the queries you can create for the Mylyn Task List, we now also provide a number of built-in queries from the CollabNet Sites view. This lets you quickly access items assigned to you or submitted by you. This includes Project Tracker and Issue Tracker. 1.5.1 Released on 2008-07-28
1.5.1 Release A maintenance release was issued on 2008-07-28. This resolved a few issues that were reported by users. It also updates to the latest version of Subclipse (1.4.2) and Subversion (1.5.1). A complete list of changes can be viewed in this Project Tracker query.
